Riding on ice is truly a unique experience – especially when you are out in the middle of Lake Mývatn.



The age limit for this tour is 6 years. Children, younger than 6 years, can be accommodated on our private tours

Helmets are provided for each rider



Please dress according to the weather – warm clothes, winter gloves, and winter outfits. Sunglasses are very helpful when riding on ice and snow



Note!

Large cameras/lenses should not be taken on the tour and if taken on the tour, any damage is your responsibility
Please understand that horses are live animals and can be startled by loud noises such as screaming
Please be advised that 110 kg (242 lbs) is the maximum weight for our strongest horses. If you weigh more than 100 kg (220 lbs), please notify us in advance so we can make necessary arrangements (safarihestar@safarihestar.is)
